What this site stores, and why.

Strictly necessary

Theme preference is saved in localStorage — not a cookie. It never leaves your browser and requires no consent. These are required for the site to function (security, session integrity, basic navigation).

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) to understand which pages are visited, how users navigate the site, and general geographic regions. IP addresses are anonymized. Data is retained for 14 months by Google's default. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you explicitly consent.

Functional

The Calendly embed on the contact page loads a third-party script so you can book a call without leaving the site. Calendly may set its own cookies for scheduling state and preferences. The script is not loadeduntil you consent. If you reject functional cookies, a simple "Click to book" button links to Calendly in a new tab instead.

Your rights

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the link in the footer. Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you have the right to withdraw consent, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. To request data deletion, email hello@anilpervaiz.com.
